Frequently Asked Questions
Is the quote you give me really the most I will pay, or are there 'hidden' fees?
Your quote includes a firm price ceiling. We don’t charge extra for stairs, materials, or equipment, those are all covered by our flat hourly rate. The price we agree on before we book is the absolute maximum you will pay. The only other “charge” we have is an optional, upgraded valuation that we are required to offer by the FMCSA.
What happens if the move takes much longer than you estimated?
If the move takes longer than expected, we take the hit, not you. Once we hit your not to exceed price cap, the clock stops for your wallet, but not for our team.
What if the move goes faster than expected? Do I still have to pay the full estimate?
This is the benefit of our hybrid pricing. If our team is ahead of schedule and finishes early, you only pay for the actual time worked. You get the safety of a price cap with the savings of an hourly rate.
Who is actually coming into my home? Are these day laborers or trained staff?
We never use day labor or gig workers. Every member of our crew is a trained, background checked professional, who understands the science of loading a truck and the art of customer service. We treat your home and your belongings with the respect they deserve.
What if something gets damaged during the move?
While we pride ourselves on our quality of service, Mistakes do happen. We are fully licensed and insured for your peace of mind. If an accident happens, we don’t hide. We have a clear, professional process to address claims immediately.
What exactly does "Full Service" mean? Do I need to provide the equipment?
Our flat hourly rate covers the essentials for your move. That means the truck, fuel, moving pads, dollies, and all the tools required to disassemble and reassemble your furniture are included. If requested we do offer a packing service, booked through our estimators, who can provide virtual, or in person estimates for the move, as well as any packing.
